A small list of examples...
1) Don't bother going shopping in person when there is online shopping instead.
2) Take online classes instead of on campus college classes.
3) Order groceries through a delivery service instead of going to the store when possible.
4) Avoid seeing family, friends because all I have to do is remind myself of negative memories and tell myself "It won't be that much fun or worth it, something bad might happen. Just stay home... "
5) Avoid going to festivals/art fairs etc... look on etsy or other similar sites instead.
6) Avoid working out in a public gym and workout at home instead... (I really hate being around others when working out. At one point I thought about becoming a pilates instructor and then I realized how torturous that would be for me).
7) Avoid calling customer service and email or use a chat function instead.
8) Avoid dealing with cashiers and use self checkout instead.
9) Seek out work from home jobs/careers.

I feel like a large part of my life is finding ways to avoid people. And that's just a small list of examples of how I do it. :/

I agree with all of those points and I think it would be good to be mute so i have less to be in contact.

I work as a freelance video editor, so my job consists of working by myself in a soundproof room. Sometimes I'm also working with a producer, which is okay because I know this person. Sometimes I'm working with a room full of clients, which drives me insane, but I have to put up with it once in a while, and I periodically have to leave the room to get some air.

Since I freelance, my work schedule sometimes has open pockets of time during the week. I only go shopping for groceries and such during weekdays as evenings and weekends are simply too much for me, and I'll just put down my things and walk out the door if it's too crowded. If work has been busy, and I've had no time during the week, I'll order take out for a while, until I have a weekday open up for me.

I'll watch movies online instead of going to the theater.

I have a car, so I drive or ride my bike instead of taking public transportation, which is an absolute nightmare for me.

Basically, I have a lifestyle that appears somewhat normal but allows me to spend the majority of my time alone. I often fantasize about having a cabin in the mountains, driving into town once a month for supplies and spending the rest of my time in peace and quiet.
