Adult wiAth high functioning autism

hello I'm a 30 yr old female with high functioning autism. I looking to make friends with people who have autism as well.

I would not be female. I was formally diagnosed with austism sprectrum disorder (high functioning), have done all the speech / social skills therapy (which has helped a lot)

An autistic computer programmer noticed I had a bunch of the traits quite a number of years and his remarks made a lot of things 'click'. That was years before I was asked by a general practitioner to see a psychologist for severe depression and they referred me to someone else for ASD issues.

There is a forum called *mod edit* that you might want to look at.

I think I know the forum he is talking about. His username is actually similar to it. Google "forums for aspergers" and you should find it. That site was created before aspergers was taken out of the DSM but still very helpful for HFA. When I google that it's the 4th result. Remember it's similar to the previous poster's username "wronggalaxy".
