I recently had a diagnosis of Dissocial pd, with moderate psychopathy scoring high in the affective and interpersonal realm.
The psychologist said I was one point of a diagnosis of NPD and I scored 22 on the PCLR. I was relieved as I didnt want a
DSPD diagnosis. I was nearly sent to a PD forensic unit. I’m sick of meeting doctor after doctor who can’t make their minds up.
This subjective #######4 labelling is a joke. I’m now a schizophrenic with PTSD back in my 14th year in this medium secure unit.
Has anyone had a lifetime of different diagnoses attached to them that they disagree with or are just contradictory?

Hi,
It can affect tribunal outcomes, housing, funding for placements and risk assesments.
If I were free and wasn't under the ministry of justice I wouldnt mind so much.
Now that they say I have PTSD I have to complete therapy for this disorder before release.
If the disocial PD wasn't dropped I would have been sent to a PD unit rather than a medium
secure, so it bothers me due to the possible outcomes that comes with a diagnosis.
I'm pleased how it's turned out. I'm not a psychopath. I do not feel remorse or guilt but that's
about it regarding core traits more or less. I'm just happy to be classed as schizophrenic so I
can claim the benifits. My aggression and violence is reactionary and rarely instrumental.
I want people around me so I try to get on.
I would say that I'm misanthropic but wouldnt like to guess at which diagnoses is more prominant.
