Hey there ycinsha, as you know I'm pretty new here too so I don't have a miracle cure or anything. I'd be terrified in your position too. I'm so glad you're trying to get help for this, it's so important.
It sounds like you're really impatient when you drive (or get angry when things are going to slow). It's really hard to be that way because for instance people like me - you'd have a pet peave with me when I make a left turn my mother got us into an accident making a left turn on a GREEN ARROW when I was little - we got bashed by 2 cars and everyone was ok but it was really scary. So now I make sure I'm safe to go before making a left turn, I don't take chances make sure there is plenty of space.
Then there's older people *no offence to anyone here!* whose reaction times are SLOOOOWWWW and have to adjust accordingly.
And people who are overcautious.
And people who are reacting to something you may not have seen on the road - maybe they can see a car you can't etc.
Regardless I think it's something you'll have to change about YOU, which is hard. Can you think of a reason you need everything going so fast when driving? Is there some more relaxing type music you can turn on when you drive, or something to keep you busy while you're waiting on people to get moving? Like maybe if you're waiting for someone to make that dumb right turn you could turn up your music and try to concentrate on that until the moment has passed?
Have you practiced any slow breathing/mindfullness stuff?
