My name is Aspen, I'm taking a Research Methods class at my community college. I have had to come up with a research proposal, and I'm now onto collecting data.

My research is to see what kind of affect having a mental illness/ psychological disorder has on a persons self esteem.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could answer the five questions below. It would really help me out. If you would prefer that everyone not see your answers you may send them to me in a PM. Also, if you have any questions or concerns about my research or the survey, you may send me a PM.

I was only diagnosed a week ago... so I hope my post is still, in some way, helpful.

This is a difficult question. Sometimes my self-esteem can be rated as a 5, and at others, a 2 (although this is much more rare). I seldom experience anything in between.

Diagnosed with ADD. At the same time, the doctor suggested looking into Autism.
I was diagnosed at 15
I would say 2 for getting along with peers. Depends on the person. I'm careful not to make enemies and going to a private school prevents bullying.
I would say 3 or how nice people are. Depends on the person.
I would say 2 for self esteem. It depends on my day and my mom's day.

17 with AS, 16 with Depression. Now I am 18.

1 (I have only some friends, the oldest of younger is 15, while my best friend is 14. The youngest of the older is 21.

4. On a scale of one (1) to five (5) with one being very mean and five being very nice, how well do you think people treat you?

3 (some are nice and some are mean)

4 - I choose not to associate with people much, when when I have to talk to others, I get along with them fine.

4. On a scale of one (1) to five (5) with one being very mean and five being very nice, how well do you think people treat you?
4 - Neutral/Nice

5. On a scale of one (1) to five (5) with one being very little to five being very high, where would you rate your self esteem?
3 - I honestly don't know. Some of my disorders tend to show that I have low self esteem, but generally I like to think of myself with high self esteem.
