A couple of questions

1. Does anyone have any thoughts concerning attachment theory and how it might have any involvement with paedophilia? Perhaps it has something to do with how many will not progress on to adult relationships. I am sure many of us know that finding children attractive is quite normal, but why do paedophiles not progress as others do?

The following link seems to give a good overall outline, and includes a quick test (B) to assess one's possible attachment style, although, for many, there will not be much point in assessing some of the relationships, since they will not exist:

2. Does anyone have any thoughts concerning the impact of leaving primary (elementary) education for secondary education - and where it might be more traumatic for some than others for instance?

Perhaps this event is a more pivotal moment for some than we realise, and might play a role in the development of paedophilia.
