Edit blog posts?

It's not possible to edit blog posts the same way it's possible to edit forum posts for 24 hours, is it? I wish it was.

That's right, blog posts are fixed as soon as they are approved [and they always need to be approved, it's a glitch in the system.] I wish the same thing. No matter how many times I preview a blog post, it always looks different once it's published.


The same rules apply as for regular posts- if there's an exceptional reason for change, contact a mod with the request. [Mods will not fix typos. And wouldn't approve a post with identifying personal details in the first place.]

Sorry, I'm gonna correct you here Ada. It's not a glitch in the system. The blog module is instead actually set for all blogs to need approval because generally people write more personal things on their blog and are more loose with the way they speak about stuff, so it is generally necessary for us to check each one to make sure that people haven't accidentally broken the rules about giving away identifying personal information, or leaving out trigger warnings etc.

I'm sorry it's not possible. It's good that you've drawn other people's attention to it here so that they are also aware.

Oh, I didn't know that, lipstick. Interesting. I don't completely agree [having edited more out of forum posts than blog posts ] but I can see the aim.
