Oh my gosh...I canceled my dvds, but it happens with my instant queue all the time!
I rationalize by saying:
1. H put them in and forgot even though they weren't remotely something he would have added.
2. Little sister uses my netflix sometimes and put them in (though she is 21, unlikely to do so accidentally and has said she isn't adding stuff, and the movies aren't ones she would be interested in).
3. Netflix has some sort of glitch.
4. Netflix has some secret program that adds stuff to get you to watch it (why would they do that?).
Funny that my diagnosis of DID and other time loss evidence never occurs to me as an option, even still. Same thing when someone deleted a journal entry I tried to write for T about dissociative experiences. I kept telling myself it was a computer glitch and I was lying to T that it was deleted by another party without my knowledge...jeez, I am thick.
I haven't watched any of the movies that were added to my instant queue as they haven't seemed like something I wanted to (or H wouldn't watch with me, and I don't generally have time to watch alone with a pre-schooler at home). However, in the last year, I have accidentally picked several movies, shows, anime, etc. that didn't list dissociation or anything like it in the description (like one about a haunted house I picked) and all ended up having characters with dissociative amnesia, DID, dissociative fugue, or other trauma-related psychology as themes. Even H started to say, "Sheesh, you sure know how to pick 'em." Kind of freaked me out.
