Happy National Multiple Personality Day!

Not sure if its about awareness or if its some sort of joke but today March 5th is National Multiple Personality Day!

March 5 is Multiple Personality Day. Multiple Personality Day is an opportunity to get in touch with yourselves. Hopefully you have only one self.
That would be interesting to find any human with ONE self! We all have many selves to our personality.
Someone with a split personality has two personalities. Someone with multiple personalities has more than two personalities.
All humans have ONE personality and all humans have many parts to that personality. Those with DID have dissociative borders between the parts, usually due to early childhood trauma.
The book Sybil Exposed by Debbie Nathan published in 2011 claims that Wilbur, Mason and Schreiber perpetuated a fraud, documenting a 1958 letter by Mason confessing to making up the multiples for attention and excitement. Nathan claims Schreiber became aware of Mason and her alleged past, writing Sybil based on stories coaxed from her during therapy, and that this case created an "industry" of repressed memory.
This book is a bunch of garbage. For something funny, check out the amazon account and the comments. It appears that Nathan posts in them as LD Brooks, or something like that. The woman is lacking morals and is out to prove an agenda - protecting child abusers.
Since all are three are dead there is no way this can be verified thus we have Multiple Personality Day!

I heard about this morning on the radio. So I googled it and sure enough its mpd day..not much info on how to celebrate it. All the info I got was real cheesie. But yeah id like to get the day off lol

Haha, in that case Happy Multiple Personality Day to all of you. I guess I'll be celebrating it tomorrow when my boyfriend and our other friend with DID are off work. XD
...I'll laugh hysterically if my former boss (from another department at our store) took today off, because a bunch of us suspect she has DID.
