Slideshow of my alters

Hello, I wanted to share this slide show that I made with you all I found pictures that I thought resembled my alters enough to portray them, then I put a little song clip with each picture that reminds me of each alter. The color the picture is tinted is the assigned color of each alter gave them colors when i first met each of them the color kind of shows their personality Rinata is very visual and Sable loves to be organized, so this is something I like to do to be in touch with my alters. Even though some look a bit older in the pictures all except Ingrid are my age (18).

If you're interested, I'm going to explain why I chose each song and picture.

Micah
Song: to me one of the things this song means is how much of a pity it is that we are ridiculed for being who we are. this is something important to Micah who came to protect Nonnette from ridicule.
Picture: I chose this picture because I liked the unusual contours of this man's face, and Micah has a kind-of unusual face as well.

Rinata
Song: Rinata is fun and playful and random, so of course she loves *NSYNC (and doesn't take it too seriously)
Picture: Rinata loves fashion and models her own appearance off of models she likes, so there you have it. She loves the tousled hair and large eyes.

Adnan
Song: the lyrics of this clip really apply to Adnan. He is very stoic, but very aggressive and puts up a strong front.
Picture: the intense expression on this man's face is what reminded me of Adnan.

Isis
Song: Isis loves Rammstein so I chose one of their songs. What I love about this song in particular is how the heavy guitar is overlayed with an eerie synth sound which fits Isis.
Picture: this picture is remarkably accurate to Isis. He is very beautiful and refined, and suspicious of the world. He is also very shy and usually hides behind his hair.

Ingrid
Song: I chose this song because of the ethereal-sounding voices. Ingrid is very nervous, and I though the liquidity of the song matched her fearful thoughts.
Picture: This picture is of Alice Liddell, who is claimed to be the inspiration (or part of it) for Lewis Carroll's “Alice in Wonderland”. I chose it because it reminds me of Ingrid. I find richness in her expression from the subtlety of the many emotions played across it. Some sorrow, some fear, some mistrust, some inquisition. I love it.

Sable
Song: To me, this song is about someone who is overwhelmed with the world, and has dreams of the world being a better place, if everything didn't move so fast, and wasn't so chaotic. This is very representative of Sable, who does most of the daily motions for me, and is extremely overwhelmed and overworked, and at the same time she is a people-pleaser who always pushes past her own limits to try and satisfy her expectations. She always feels like she needs to do more to be good enough, and she too, fantasizes of saving the world
Picture: this hairstyle is one I feel connotes tidiness and tension, so I liked it for Sable. Also the collared shirt makes her seem scholarly and uptight (which she is). I like how the gaze of the woman in the picture is cast down, like she holds a heavy burden, like Sable.

Nonnette
Song: this song brings some happy childhood memories to my mind and Michael Martin Murphy's voice is just so soothing that this song gives me Nonnette-vibes. Also, Nonny is a romantic, like this song.
Picture: Nonnette looks a little younger than the actress in this picture. The hairstyle is exactly the same and her sweet smile and innocent eyes reminded me of Nonnette. Also their facial features are similar (Nonnette looks most like me)

Louis
Song: How do I even begin this........well.......Lou is crazy funny and eccentric and I can't put this any other way: he loves schoolgirls (not necessarily in a perverted sense, but he likes the uniform and he loves scary movies that involve schoolgirls.) His imaginary band is called Lou&theSchoolgirls. And he also loves obscure and odd horror movies, one of his favorite films is called 5ive Girls and it is about Catholic Schoolgirls, so when he saw the name of that song well, there really is no other choice. Plus, the song is catchy and upbeat, like my beloved Lou :3
Picture: Lou is very dramatic, very out-there, I thought this picture exemplified confidence and intensity.

Mannette
Song: I chose this part of the song because it involved a threat, and Mannette is very threatening. I feel Otep is a good band choice for Mannette because Mannette is all about feminist-power and screaming and cursing and whatnot.
Picture: this picture actually resembles Mannette a lot. She has the same sunken cheek-bones and dark red straight hair and piercing gaze.

Wow. This is... amazing, to say the least. The songs were quite good, and they really went along with the images. Good job. ^^;

Is it okay if I want to make one too? But I don't really know how, and I'm not sure I'll do it right. And I can't put it on you tube, sice I don't have an account.

Sure you can! I'm not the boss of slideshows! I think it would be wonderful of you to make one. There is no "right" way to do it, you just make something you like, and that makes it yours and special. I used Windows Movie Maker which comes with all windows computers, and I'm sure if you have a Mac, there's also a program like that. Making a youtube account is easy and free. There are also other places to post videos too. I can help you with any of the technical stuff. Thank you for the comment.

Dear Wendywolf, Loved it...when I get a better idea of my alters I plan on making one as well...thanks for sharing and giving me the idea.
