Does it bother you, when you are seeing something dramatic in a movie or TV episode?

I watch TV/movies for them, so no. Not at all. Apparently it is worth watching them if one is emotionally connected to the experience. Though I can't imagine it being desirable if the feeling is not good.
-Big N (usually grounded/OK/the host)
-little n (depressive child part; aka 'Jane')
-Aiden (obsessive/thinker part; no feelings)
Integrated:
-Sonja (preteen; happy/optimistic/good girl/social part)
-niva (teen; aggressive/frantic; lust/passion)
-ninchen (brave child; 9)
-Cedar (spiritual part)

Why are you the one that watches it for the others?

I hope my question wasn´t too intrusive Aiden, I can see how it could be.
I´ve found it difficult to hear/see dramatic scenes from TV/movies.

I have to be really careful about what we watch. Sometimes we can watch scary stuff and be fine (nothing like horra movies though), other times even kids films scare us or make us upset. Most of the time we just stick to documentaries about wildlife, building things etc where there is nothing that could scare us
The main ones around nowadays are
Hannah (18) Hannah (5) Rachel (21) Rach(5) Tiffany (4) Layla (4) Steph (18-21) Kaja (18) Katie (14) Katy (14)

I have to admit I was a little suspicious as to why you were posting this, but it did trigger my angry antisocial part.
Aspin - "I don't care that the others don't want to watch it. I like violent, psychopathic crime thrillers. The more graphic the better. The others say it is abusive to them but I don't care"
Most of my alters do not enjoy this and the violence is triggering, causing me to become very unstable and depressed. My T says Aspin is recreating abuse and we try to work with him to stop. For now he is obsessed with reading and/or watching violent topics. All we can do is find our "safe place" inside and wait for him to stop.

I wouldn't say that I do with movies generally, but I find sometimes that I don't know what happens in a movie I've watched lots of times before, so it must affect some part? Some of the littles, though, they aren't so good with... about any movie, I guess.
I have more of an issue with books generally. One part is obsessed with reading about *trigger warning* abuse and murder *end trigger warning*, which to a lot of us is really quite unsettling and tends to make some other parts doubt themselves. I get why, but it's still problematic.

Why are you the one that watches it for the others?
*Triggers*:
While they body was being CSAed, Aiden would disengage from the awareness of the experience without completely 'disappearing' like Jane would. He would think - try to comprehend why, try to think of a way out of it for us, etc; he watched our uncle undress; he noticed the details of the room - the textured ceiling with the slanted window, a thunder storm, the TV (news, sports, soaps, etc), etc. He's been the one to watch TV ever since... Sometimes another one of us will feel something for a second, but not much longer before Aiden takes over again...
