Have you ever felt like your family was alienating and/or conspiring against you because of your DID symptoms?
How did/would you deal with such a thing?

My family haven't been greatly involved in my life since childhood; my mother moved away from everyone and I've never had a relationship with the paternal side. Everyone now lives scattered across the country so I don't see any of them. The mother has always been difficult...everyone is aware of my mental health issues but most of them have never offered any kind of support. They aren't aware of potential DID though when I came out as transgender my grandparents sent Christmas and birthday cards with my chosen name. My accepted dx to them is schizophrenia as far as I'm aware; i don't know if they'd accept the DID or if they might already suspect as much. But since I don't see them a great deal alienation isn't really an issue.
My past relationships including a marriage have all broken down due to my symptoms.
