What exactly is it when a system is in crisis? Is it memories starting to seep through? How long can it last? And where do the littles go during this time?

I think it depends very much from the crisis.
Is the host worn out and very sick or tired? Then the crisis can be about who takes over, how tasks are divided and how everythin gets done that needs to be done. It demands a lot of organisation and delegation.
Is there an attack in the Inner world? Then you need to look at who s doin what to who and how safety can be guaranteed.
The littles may retreat to a safe place in the Inner World if not feeling safe, or can be reassured if they re out and taken care of.
Many crisises are possible I believe.
I hope this is a bit of help.
I know from some posts I read you re havin a rough time. Are you postin this regardin dissociative fugue?
No need to answer if you don t want to.
MUch love

Hi Nina,
Yes..I've been having a rough time lately, lol. I may have posted in regards to a fugue, but I can't remember. Being as though my SO took off so suddenly and really without reason, I wondered if it could be considered a fugue, but I don't think he changed his identity, although he was definitely someone else.
Yes, I posted this question not really realizing that "crisis" can mean many different things. In this case the host was very tired and worn out. Exhausted. I think he put the little ones in a safe place.
