Chaos is tiring

We haven't been on in several days...there's been a lot going on the past few days.

Angel, who has cyclothymia, has been in a mixed episode for several days now. It was manageable for the first few days...but then one night, she got really bad and sped around on the freeway, alternatively singing along to the radio and screaming/sobbing. Then she came back to the dorms, stayed for five minutes, couldn't handle it, and then went back out and did it again.

She's been better and worse and better and worse since then. That was three days ago. She's never had an episode this intense, and I wish we knew how to help her. Michael says this probably has to be waited out. I don't know when it'll end. It's so intense that it influences whoever's out.

Lots of chaos in the system lately because of that.

Oh, and we found out something interesting too while this was going on. We normally don't have any physical differences between alters who are out. We all have the bad eyesight from the body, we all have the latex allergy, etc. There's a few little things, like I'm the only one who's lactose intolerant, and Alexa's allergic to watermelon and can't move the right side of the body that well. Overall, though, we have the same physical problems.

We found out though that Angel has better depth perception than I do. Mine is terrible...whenever I park in the parking garage here, I always park an inch from the wall. It looks like a foot to me. Angel doesn't have this problem. It's the weirdest thing to us, since we almost never encounter something like this. We know other systems do, though.

We just told another friend of ours about the DID too...that was interesting, and I think she's still getting used to it. She's made a lot of progress, though, and she reacted well. She's going to tell us if the eye color changes at all when another alter is out. As far as we can tell, it doesn't, but you never know...
