Ambien and alters

Postby LittleRedDogToo » Fri Sep 13, 2013 12:40 am

Does anyone have experience with Ambien and how it affects you and your system?
My T warned that it can cause dissociative symptoms in people who don't have dissociative disorders, but now she's not sure if we have more alters with whom we have no contact or with we have a very strange reaction to Ambien and we don't really know how to tell as we've always gotten up at night anyway, and Ambien doesn't seem to stop that - now the different is that no one remembers doing it. People who have seen Ambien us versus...not Ambien us can't tell the difference. It makes us nervous since we didn't know we were getting up and doing stuff on Ambien, and it was supposed to prevent us from getting up at night.
We're not invited.

Hey. We're having the same problem..
I woke up to find texts from my fiance asking if I'm okay, and when I replied he said last night was really scary. I looked through my sent texts and they make zero sense. Even my mom said last night was scary. So I need to ask them what happened..
..but I don't even remember taking ambien. Apparently I did though.
My room looks like it's been hit by a tornado, even though I cleaned it spotless last night--or, er, maybe the day before, I don't remember any of yesterday.

Mommy took Ambien because we don't sleep very much on our own. But it didn't do anything at all. We were still up all night so the doctor gave us more and that didn't work other. They tried once more and then gave up. It's a good thing our brother can put us to sleep now.

Ambien doesn't keep us in the bed either....we do the dishes, call people or answer calls, eat, do laundry, schoolwork and other stuff.... I think it actually makes us more active at night. It mostly drugs out the Littes but the Big ones seem to be very active.

We do much better on 5-10mg Melatonin and 2 Unisom taken together.

Hope things become easier :)
