Co-hosting

Postby user110867 » Mon Mar 25, 2013 2:50 pm

Lgan and I are going to attempt cohosting together. :) We cohosted unintentionally before I knew about the DID and it was pretty awesome and we were both happy. I think it'll be cool to have some help. Have any of you tried this before?

Yup. Most of the time we have had 2 hosts. When that hasn't been the case we have periodically had just 1 or mostly 3. We have at times had 4 co-hosts.

Now we don't have a host, and we're just a system together trying to deal with daily life :)

Mostly when we've purposely tried to have more hosts it's gone well. Not always, but mostly, it's worked out and felt natural within a short time.

We're pretty excited about trying this out. ^ ^ Maybe we can rotate so others can have a chance at it as well. I know that would upset people in my life if I weren't the host, though. :/

Best of luck :)

It's your system and your life - you can't base something like that off of what other people want, I think. Do what you need to be healthy and happy, and those around should see that you are just that: and be happy for you :)

I seriously have no idea who's hosting at the moment (it surely is not just me). I think it's more like co-hosting, but maybe not. No it isn't. -? Eh?
Well, at least I do suspect different parts are out at different times, so why wouldn't it be co-hosting? Because the'yre out at td different times. -? Hmmm....

Then, well, there's apparently no co-hosting going on, but I'm pretty sure there's enough sharing/communication to appear as such. I know I have a lot influence. Enough to be the one writing here mostly (well, this color black is shared somewhat).

Anyway, wanted to write about my (apparently non-existing) co-hosting, but good luck anyway!

Because the'yre out at td different times

I think this touches on something (relatively) important for this thread.

There's 2 version of what is sometimes called co-hosting:
(a) being a host: e.g the person or persons who are the most out. For us, this number have changed over the years and is as described in the comment above.
(b) being in the body together - e.g, more accurately co-consciousness. This can be done while co-hosting.

Well, we tried, but Logan keeps leaving so I'm not sure we're really co-hosting. He's out more than usual, but it's hard to get him to stay. He doesn't like it and he gets bored so....yeah. We'll keep trying a little longer, but we're not sure if it will stick. He's gone now too. :/

Usually there's a reason why someone is a host and why someone else isn't. Hope you find something functional :)

Yeah, Logan tends to freak out when he's out. He gets panicked and upset. So, we probably won't co-host. At least not right now.

Alright. Leslie and I are going to co-host. I'm the most stable of us and Leslie is having a temporary break down and is begging not to be the host at all. we decided co-hosting would be the best option for now.
