Hi, I'm M,
I look after the ones lower down in the system
Checking there all there and that, bit like a mother or a mod.
Don't think I actually have a name yet, no matter..
I needed somewhere to post.
Anyone else a bit like me in their own systems?
I'm a bit more of an adult though, need to be grounded like
I imagine myself to be a bit like 40, that's how I feel, but maybe I'm about 29, the bodys actual age, that's probably more like it. Although in my mind I definately feel 40..

Yeh we've been pushing host to join us and integrate already, so we can get on being a team, she's scared as $#**, always making a fuss. We ain't gonna push till she's really ready though, all hosts need time. We'll make it comfy for her though like, give her a bed and she can choose some belongings and pictures or whatever. It'll all be fine, she'll be alright when she comes in and joins us. Can't be nice being outside all the time when she could be in with us. We'll make it comfy for her and welcome her. All hosts like being on their own for a bit. We do want her to join though. We'll coax her in with something of hers she recognises or something. She'll have some familiar sounds, smells, touches, sights. It won't be as scary as she's making out. We'll make it alright. I gotta stay grounded for ones like her, a,ways flying about with their emotions and that. I let her pick a colour, just to calm her down and make her feel she was alright.

My name is Linn.
I like to paint and write, mostly poetry.
I have too many favorite poets!
Turquoise is my very favorite color, and I get tipsy off it.
Irises are the most beautiful flowers, I think.
I am a free spirit which means I accept and love people for where they are in the moment.
I am trusting and compassionate and always find time for yoga and meditation.
My world is disorganized but that is how I like it best.
I believe so much in love and I like to help people heal and be creative.
I dance and sing in public.
I like observing people's colors. Some are light or dark or vibrant or mixed.
I am in love with my Ell who is inside.
I like tea and would like to live in a forest with an organic garden and I guess I would not have very much money but I wouldn't mind.
I am part fairy and part elf. I am very very old in human years but young in other years.
Sometimes I miss my home on the other plane, but I like this earth too.
It's nice to have a thread for adults. He-he.
In Light,
Linn

I'm Theresa. Nadia told me I should try to make friends on here, that it could help cheer me up. Not that I see the point, I never have friends.

I like stuff, like good movies and things, but I never really see the point in watching movies or much of anything. I just want to curl up in a ball and stay there. I do like Jo's husband, he says nice things to me. Most people don't. So I like sitting and drinking with him, alcohol cheers me up sometimes.

*trigger warning*
I also like to cut and I do want to die, but Paul made me promise not to because he loves Jo so much.

Hi Theresa! :)

Good meeting you! Welcome :) I'm glad you like Jo's husband. Yeah that's good to have. We like Nin's SO and it's helped a lot to have someone nice to talk to that says nice things.

So yeah - good meeting you and feel free to come back and chat if you want to! :)

I hope I am not intruding, as I am 23, but I do not see myself belonging in the "Teen/Adolescent" thread.

Hello to all, my name is Rain. I am a caretaker within the system. I look after the Main Group when I'm able to, as my "main domain" is the first level, and that is where the Main Group alters reside. Most my time is spent looking after and caring for Lynn, Cassie, and sometimes Ray. Otherwise, I try to help things run more smoothly over all for the first level, and keep an eye on all Main Group alters in case difficulties such as conflicts arise.

My first and foremost priorities are my duties to the system, and I accept that. As a result, however, I do not spend much time "out", and I do not put much thought into myself or things I enjoy. I understand that this may seem like a rather unbalanced way to live, but my lack of balance helps to increase balance throughout the system as a whole, and to the host, Cassandra's, life.

However, I am not oblivious to myself or obvious interests. I simply do not have the time to pursue them, nor think about them as in-depth as others here seem to have. That being said, allow me to share what I can about myself.

My favorite color is blue, and I enjoy all shades and variations of said color.
I enjoy reading, and anything to do with literature, though I have not read in a while.
I also enjoy researching topics of interest to me, (such as psychology, coincidentally), and recording my own thoughts and opinions on the subject, (whether it is a structured essay, or a simple rant).
My style is rather reserved and "formal", from my clothes to the make-up I wear.
I am often described as being a "vulcan", or very "vulcan-like". (Vulcans are rather emotionless, and very logical, creatures from the show Star Trek). I must admit, that this is a rather accurate description. I prefer to remain logical and calm at all times, and I may seem emotionless because I try to not let my emotions control my thoughts or actions. Emotions can often cloud clear, logical thoughts, and can cause people to act impulsively, make mistakes, and other such things. Though emotions are important to have and feel, it is also important to not let them blind you or your mind.

I believe that is all for now. It is nice to meet you, M, Linn, Theresa, Lifelongthing, and Amelia. Thank you to Datenshi for starting this thread.

~Rain

We're not adults, so we won't be around long, and we won't come back, but we wanted to reply to Theresa. Yeah, we're depressed alters. We understand those types of feelings all too well. So, if you ever wanna talk to us, 'bout that type of stuff or anything else, we'll be on the Teen/Adolescent thread, or you can PM us, or maybe we'll start a thread for alters like us, yeah, 'cause I'm sure there's more out there. ~Luna ~L.C.

Nice meeting you too Rain :)
It's good that you're taking time to find out what you like. Though you may not have much time to dedicate to yourself and your interests, it's still healthy to at least know what they are.

Knowing yourself is key to knowing others, it is said.

Hey, so its M innit, or whatever my name is
Those kids have been getting under my feet today. I keep cleaning up round them, they do what they like and I'm left with the mess :| I tell them to do something and they don't do it. Just leave a trail of dirt behind them which I have to clean. Just don't think they appreciate what I have to put up with or what I do for them on the outside  I clean and I clean, I make their meals, what thanks do I get. I've been doing their laundry that never ends, its like a mountain of never ending supply. I have to get their toys, I take them here there and everywhere. Just don't feel I have any time to myself :? How am I gonna cope on my own. I just wanna be taken out for me sometimes don't I, without the littlens always pestering and hovering  just to have some space..
Tut tut

Just wanted to moan a bit

Hello everyone,

It is a pleasure to meet you all, my name is Florette.
I am 29 years old, which makes me one of the oldest in our system. I am also a bit like a mother to our teens and children, they always tend to make such a mess.

I have always been about 10 years older than the body, because of that I have been in front only recently. Kids should play, so when the body was younger I let it play.

It has been lovely to read some things about you, have a marvelous day.
