So, I had my second Aspergers meeting today. Basically going through the process of diagnosing to see if I have Aspergers Syndrome. I was with my mum and had to answer more in depth questions I had filled in in a questionnaire before the meeting.
Was interesting to say the least. Next meeting will be just my mum talking about my childhood etc with the lady we spoke with. And then another meeting with us all. How many meetings does it usually take to determine a diagnosis?

I think this depends. I heard something like 3 hours or so from some members here. Mine was 1 hour and 15 minutes, far shorter than your diagnosis it sounds like..but yours is probably more thorough. It may come down to that you're very light on the scale and they are asking more about it to make sure they don't place you inappropriately.

Well, the meeting was over an hour...think it was a 1 and a half hour slot. The first one was half an hour I think. But that was more an introduction of how things work and why my parents think I have Aspergers without going into great detail.
