myers briggs and ASDs

Was reading this thread at wrong planet based on aspergers and the myers briggs. Most of them came out to be NT or NF(N meaning intuitive) can any of you explain this to me? I thought those with autism or aspergers tend to have trouble reading between the lines in regards to things.
