I can't stick to a diet

Postby Tenebres » Tue Mar 10, 2015 9:46 pm

I did some research and I found out that for my hormonal imbalance(more androgens) and for my mild acne the best thing I could do is try a low carb diet.
The problem is that...even though I don't wanna go extremely low carb is really hard to give up on sugar. One tablespoon of sugar is around 14 grams carbs and my daily intake of carbs should be around 20-25 grams ,at least in the first weeks or so.

I am gonna really try to give up on coffee and the sugar that I add in it and eating junk food.
I already stopped buying coffee and I bought some nice tea that I am planning to drink without sugar.

Is there anybody who would like to try a low carb diet?Or a moderate low carb diet?

i am not a big fan of following a diet (other than "eat clean") for myself but i have some experience with changing lifestyle habits.
it can get hard to change everything you are used to so radically, especially when you have other challenges in your life as well.
in my experience it helps a lot to start with a "perfect day". just one day a week where you do everything exactly as you want it to be in the end. it feels good to be able to stick to it for a whole day and the new habits start to leak into daily life.
good luck with the low carb diet!

I have always found it best to dial in gradually. The results short term are not as spectacular, but long term easier to follow.

Currently trying to adjust to a decade long chocolate reward habit, first few weeks very hard getting much easier.
