Open Discussions About Verbal Abuse.

My parents always showed their love by their on means of doing things. Through physcial, emotional and verbal abuse that took on a world of its own. It is easy to just say that I was abused and end the conversation but they took things to the next level of extreme. Most to all adults say that they had some sort of abuse growinmg up. Thatrs common. Mine was like something made up because it was so surreal. So unreal. My father refused to work to support his family so he decided to do the most honorable thing he could do as a man. He went on welfare and used his son as a workforce to support his candy ass. What a fasther you say. Ohg yes he was. He used all means necessary to get his way. He never gave me a hug or showed any kind of compassion. Like I said on the subject mean. He showed tough love to the next level.

Hey, John! What your father did is terrible and the rest of your family should have protected you. It must have been very hard to just feel used and not get any kind of love from him. It's good that you can talk about it. You can validate your own feelings this way.
How are you doing?

((((((((((((John)))))))))))) It helps me to talk to someone right away if I've been triggered. You could post here or PM me about it and get it off your chest, if you like. It can take a while to get better, but it's possible with work and support from people who care.

I dealt with verbal abuse and it's extremely damaging, I think yhou should talk to someone professionaly, it's impossible to deal with the after affects alone, no one can do that.
Hang in there.

It is so easy to blend the past into the present and thus into the future with everyday situations.
