i am catherine and i have been verbally abused

when i was 13 my mom turned into an alcoholic. from the age of 13 to the age of 17, i was verbally abused. she used to yell at me and stuff but also we used to fight physically. it was really bad. dyfc came to the house 3 times. but i always ended up lying to stay with my mom.... why? becasue i love her. we havnt fought in like a year or two.

I am good. I am glad my mom and i havnt fought in along time. Its a mixture of her not being a drunk and me not being a teenager and trying to get her to understand me.
