PTSD from torture-like verbal abuse

Postby mspen1018 » Tue Mar 20, 2007 11:48 pm

I managed to move into a "crackhouse" type apartment 8 months ago and my neighbor who happens to be psychotic and addicted to both crack cocaine and adderall became obsessed with my rather rapidly, abnormally. She started her chanting at the wall from her apartment through the wall. She began with homophobic crap because I rejected her, there was 3 months of the "biblical" theme and it ended with "he needs to go". I notice now that I am hypersensitive to people talking in their apartments and it gives me a creepy feeling. I almost abandoned the place.

Hi mspen,
wow, that creeps me out too. You should not have to fear where you live, take into consideration that most of the people are mental ill, as long as they are not violent, and not verbally abusive to you except chanting through the wall at you is abusive. I know it might be hard but have you asked them to stop?? or you might want to find some where else to live if you are able.

I think home should be a safe pleasant place to be. I hope you find that.

peace.
