Secret Recording

After years of verbal abuse & emotional control I shouted back at my partner. He was recording me on a Dongle and says if i call the police on him the recording proves i am the abuser and he the victim. Any advice. I live in the UK. Thanks

My advice is to not even bother with the police and just get yourself away from him, if you can. Recording you for legal leverage? Blackmail? That's how you treat a rival mobster, not your partner.
