Do you agree that people?

Postby Angelhearted12 » Tue Jan 15, 2013 4:26 pm

Don't believe people have been abused because, they are abusers also? Agree or disagree?
It is easy enough to be friendly to one's friends. But to befriend the one who regards himself as your enemy is the quintessence of true religion. The other is mere business.

I disagree. Not believing can be a form of abuse, but not always. Sometimes it's self-protection, sometimes it's fear or anger, probably other reasons too.

Kinda like abuse by proxy?

I'm not sure what you mean. Could you explain more?

That's talking about being manipulated. People in that category can't be said to be abusers in the same way as the person doing the manipulating. Their behaviour isn't deliberately malicious.

Yes, abuse by proxy is a form of abuse. But the people being "used" aren't choosing to abuse, or even abusing through neglect. So I wouldn't call them "abusers".
