False friends it seems

I have not been here for some time and thought it was time to come back so I could vent especially after my recent issues.

I have had some battles like all of us, and was talking with a good lady friend who themselves has a variety of issues and we provided each other comfort and support especially over the last 3 months. During this time I found out one of my medications had adversely impacted my mental health. This created a bit of a problem between us as I unfortunately fell in love with her.

She was open and honest and they proceeded to fall in love with another guy whom she had history with a week after I told her my feelings. Over the following weeks we went from talking multiple times a day and night to at some stages not talking for a couple days. Then just yesterday she has removed me from her life completely, blocked social media and not responded to texts or phone calls. All I wanted was a reason why instead I get the cold silent treatment from someone who claimed to be a good and valued friend.

So much so that I was even a job reference for a high paying, high profile job they are going for. She even shared family information and her dark secrets that people we worked with never knew but I always suspected. She was married and her partner was a physically and mentally abusive drunk who also partook in spousal rape. She left him when he started to physically assault their autistic son.
