Quit on my first day

Postby FoolFighters » Tue Dec 05, 2017 3:51 am

Previously I worked with a manipulative boss. He paid me less than our agreement in the interview session. I finally got a new job. Yesterday was my first and last day. My new employer is even worse.

1. Applied for the graphic design position. I have confirmed the work specifications and the facilities twice before I accept the job. In my first day, I ended up become online seller and marketing instead. No design work at all. Very different from what we've talked earlier.

2. I confirmed the facilities too. She provided an old laptop with Pentium processor, low specification, missing keyboard's button, and no mouse at all. The internet connection sucks. Then, she told me to bring my laptop. I refused because I can't bring mine. Besides, I have told her before I accept the job.

3. There are two co-workers. Let's call them M and Y. M applied for the designer position too. She becomes the designer.... and receptionist, copywriter, photographer, social media administrator, and marketing. Y is supposed to work as messager, but she becomes servant and receptionist too. The boss forces her to use a timer during her break time. When the time is up, she must work again. Seriously?

4. M has been working for two weeks. She has not received her salary yet. My biggest concern is: the employer didn't ask about the bank account or payment method. She concerns about it, but decides to wait until the end of December.
Y has been working for two months. She has not received her salary too!
None of them want to stay, but they decide to wait until the payday.

5. Then she told me about commissions. In short: if I could not sell any products, she would pay me lower. Very different from what we've talked earlier.

Am I overreacted? Is she too bad?

Well, I regret to resign from my old job. I'm unemployed now.
