(Once upon a time there was a young man in high school who walked the edge of gender expression. On the outside he had the makings of the usual male, but he had the heart of princess on the inside. While this person was kind, cheerful, outgoing, and not afraid to express his gender, he had a different sort of secret to hide.
Secretly, this young person took part in a nightly ritual. This ritual consisted of engaging in sexual acts while wearing a specialized leather suit. The young person, who did not mind being referred to by either gender, kept this hidden from his friends. However, he was unsuspectingly in for the fight of his life when someone discovered and decided to exploit this secret for his personal gain.
The person who discovered the young person's secret is known to despise those whom he deems as corrupted, disgusting, or unnatural. He is known to launch repeatedly into rants about those that are out to enforce "the agenda." This person was about to do something that he felt would make a name for himself.
The bigot threatened to have the young man's secret exposed if he refused to pay him money weekly. With nowhere to turn to for help, the young man was on the brink of tearing himself apart. But he did not, he was instead about to do what no man would dare to do. One night, the young man brought his sexual leather suit out and took a picture of it. With it, he wrote his confession on his personal blog telling everyone about what he does and his dilemma.
On the way to the classroom the next day, he felt that he was going to be sick. He could immediately hear the whispers of condemnation against him, he suspected, and when he arrived in the classroom, nobody spoke to him. When the bell rang, the room was immediately emptied as the students left to confront someone, and it was not the young man. Curious to find out what all of the ruckus was about, he followed the students into the hallways where they were crowded around the bigot!
The young man was about to bear witness to something that would restore his faith in his life.)

YOU!! What the hell is wrong with you?! Is this how you get your kicks, huh?!
Don't you dare tell me that you don't know what I am talking about! You saw it, too, on the blogs!
We were willing to tolerate you because we all thought you were crazy, but THIS?!
THIS IS SICK!!
Threatening to expose personal secrets unless you have your way?! You may have just this close to ruining someone's life, you devil!!
I don't care, that's no excuse to do this sort of thing!
What?!
Who is attacking you?! He's not hurting anybody!
What the hell are you talking about?!
Listen, Mac, you don't get to be the underdog. You're not the one being bullied for being different. You're not being oppressed for who you are. What this kid's done is something that I don't think I could ever do in my lifetime. A black-heart like you wouldn't understand bravery if it came up and punched you in the balls!
...
You know what? Go ahead. If all you see is ugliness and corruption, that's all you deserve to see. True beauty doesn't need to be seen by those like you. You don't deserve to see purity because it will only be blighted if people like you set their twisted eyes on it.
It doesn't matter if nobody's listening.
Get lost.
...
Hey, you okay, kid?
I gotta say, I'm pretty shocked. I mean, wow! I knew you were different, but I didn't think you were...I mean, wow!
But you know what? It doesn't matter to me. So it may not be everyone's cup of tea, that is never an excuse to do what he did.
This what you do and this is who you are, and as long as it's not hurting anybody, who cares?
Dude, you should be proud of yourself! You robbed someone of their ability to take advantage of you!
Listen, you're cool just the way you are. Never forget that, pal.
The lesson here is that if you're interested in something, know both the benefits and the risks and then you can make the decision of whether or not to pursue that interest for yourself.
You're welcome.
Uh-oh, we better get to class.
Take care of yourself, buddy.
