My Psychiatrist Visit Today

Well today I saw my Psychiatrist. I am not very fond of him at all. He likes to play god and control things. I have been telling him for the last few months that I don't feel like the Psych Medications I am taking are working for me very well. I am dual diagnosed. He focuses only on my addiction and not on my bipolar. Today I finally expressed my frustration with him. He got miffed and called in my therapist to intervene. I don't know exactly what changed his attitude, but he finally adjusted my medication. I have never before in the last 10 years since I've been diagnosed with Bipolar experienced a doctor like him. He likes to play god and not listen to what the patient is saying. However, today I feel like I won a battle. Maybe I will start feeling better mentally. Time will tell. Just had to vent.
