I'm sick of people who get offended by others saying/writing "assburgers" instead of "Asperger's".
1. Asperger's Syndrome is named after a doctor whose last name is Asperger. So when I say "assburgers", I'm actually making fun of a person's name, not the illness or anyone who has it. So unless your name is "Asperger", it's not really your place to get offended. Get over yourself.
2. The word DOES sound like "Assburgers". It's funny. Get a sense of humor or go eat a hot, speeding bullet. If you CAN'T get a sense of humor, then don't try to ruin it for those of us who have one. If you simply don't agree with my sense of humor then keep in mind that humor is subjective & that there are things YOU find funny that I'D think you're a retard for laughing at.
3. How about not taking life so seriously? Nothing is sacred. Everything can & SHOULD be made fun of. Anything you consider an exception to this fact, you are in danger of letting rule your life.
I REFUSE to give an ILLNESS that much POWER over me.
