I've read a lot of different things from people who i think don't have Trich. Idk I've been trying to kick trich for about 8 years. It got really bad when i was younger but has progressivly gotten better but I still pull. I found putting slight pressure on the spot that is inflamed that makes me want to pull lessens the urge. But what else do you think helps you?
So if a zombie duck bites, you do you to turn into a zombie duck or just a regular zombie?

Hello ArmyGirlfriend,
I don't personally struggle with Trich but I used to have an exboyfriend that did. Apparently therapy can be really helpful to deal with this disorder as it is an impulse control disorder and sometimes there can be underlying emotional problems (sometimes that aren't even consciously realised) that can be causing the impulse to pull the hair. The pulling can distract from the other feelings that may be underpinning this condition. Have you considered getting therapy?

Yes i did do therapy for awhile but the medication was part of it. It didn't do anything i'm not different than when i was on it. Yeah I'd go back but the medication i stopped taking they don't know that. I don't put back on it. Yeah i know that it supposedly helps but Idk It's an up down battle everyday.
