Hello

:D Hi, I am new here. Just thought I'd introduce myself and say a little. I am 26 and live with my partner, son and step-son. I pull my eye-lashes (and elsewhere  ) and am yet to stop.
Its nice to finally come across others as I am yet to meet anyone who does it. Anyway, hi all!

Hi Lauren Ruth,

Welcome to the forum. I am a hair-puller, skin picker, and a few other things as well. Most of my symptoms occur during times of stress.

There are several here that pull eyelashes and eyebrows. Stopping is difficult because trich seems to be a manifestation of other things including the need to make things equal or perfect. Do you display any symptoms of OCD? Trich sometimes runs along with that as well.

Best,
Things Fall Apart

Thankx for replying. Where do I start?! Lol, I dont have OCD however I am impulsive and a perfectionist, definately needing things to be 'just right' or 'even'!
I have PTSD, GAD, PD-NOS, Neurotic Depression (and I'm a recovered Anorexic, self harmer and drug addict). I also have Tourettes Syndrome that shows itself through Tics all over my body and very minor, occasional noises. I also pull-hair. Quite a list really, though I'm alone here :P
How about you?
