I'm desperate. My 11-year-old has recently been pulling out her eyelashes and eyebrows. They aren't all gone, but it is noticeable. We have a good relationship and I've tried to take notice to any particular stressors, etc., in her life. But I seriously do not know what to do. I've been doing research online about this....and I have a call into her Pediatrician. I want some insight from those of you who've been there. What can I do to help her? I'm so worried about her....I want to help her now before it gets out of hand, but I really do not know how. I don't want to fuss over her, but I don't want to ignore it.
Thank you so much for any help or even if you can point me in any direction of where to get some. I'm even reluctant to just take her to any psychologist I know nothing about. If it comes to that, I'd like to take her to someone who has experience in this area and who comes with some recommendations. Is there a website that can shed some light on that? Anything anyone can tell me....please do.
Thanks.

I can totally relate to the stress that you are going through with your daughter's trich obsession. You should definitely go and see a psychologist because there are proven medications that can help curb the disorder. ALong with that advice, please consider ordering her Talika Lipocils from France, it really is a miracle product (comes in a tube and is much like mascara) and helps restore and regrow eyelashes and eyebrows within weeks. I've been using it for a while now and will not stop using it. Let me know what you think.

I wish I could help you but I have no answers, save one. Do not ignore it, it will not go away. And DO NOT punish her, the worse she feels the worse it will be. Ok...that's two and it's all I have. My heart is with your little girl and with my own since I don't want her to develop my terrible...whatever it is.
