Hi guys,
I think I am developing trichotillomania. I have had a bad and anxious year, and my hair pulling has been getting worse (I now feel as though there is a visible impact). I would like to know what advice you would give someone in the early stages? What do you wish you had known? I am going to try to stop now, as I know it will just get harder and harder and I still feel as though I have some control over it.
Also, I tend to feel my hair first, and pull out the strands that don't 'feel right' ie. coarse hair.
Thanks!
Toni

Early stage advise start to learn how to delete that message pull:) you just need time to learn how to manage it . People who can't build wall they get bald . Stop pulling you will have your hair back and brain won't ask you so bad to pull.Time heals everything . I have dealt with this since I was 10 years old . I almost beat it . I have healthy hair . Have small urges sometimes but I can say NO. Stay away from mirror:)
