I seem to have a very strange problem. My head twitches/shakes but it only seems to happen when I think about it. If I am not thinking that it will happen, it doesn't really happen. Evidence for this is that when I am drunk it almost never happens because I never think about it and when I am high it happens non-stop because I am always thinking about it. I took zoloft for 10 years or so, then went off of it for awhile, then back on and then back off. Thats when this seemed to start. I used to smoke all the time and it wasnt a problem. During a presentation, I kept thinking about it so it kept happening and I couldn't tell if people could know.
Pleas give me some insight as this is a huge problem for me.

Only a professional can tell you for sure. But it's possible that it's your tic, Tourettes is more severe, I think. Maybe it's a nervous reaction of some sort?
