Ever File Charges Against an LCSW ?

Postby BeachBi » Wed Feb 21, 2024 9:53 pm

After 3-4 sessions with an LCSW I later filed a Complaint with the NASW. He was having an Affair with Woman who referred me ! He Husband thought I was sleeping with her ! Just found the paperwork from over 30 years ago. Took me months to figure out what was happening. I proved the relationship to the NASW and they said I wasn't affected !

What a mess! I would consult with someone knowledgable about the law & statutes of limitations, etc.
I can't dispense legal advice as it is beyond my scope here.
Social Workers have a code of ethics. That has been broken. I am unsure of your legal recourse.

Your anger is justified. Just don't let this poison all that you've worked for & attained.
The very best of luck to you. :D

not sure what state you live... but I personally have access to dr's ect that have had their licenses revoked for all kinds of things... First you need to go after the license.... he HAS violated his job... he needs to have his license suspended or something.. the state has a board that monitors anyone licensed..... after the outcome of that... civil suit
