Body Dysmorphic Disorder Study - Call for participants

Hello,

Are you located in or near NYC, 18 years or older, and are you diagnosed with Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) or strongly believe that you may have BDD?

I am a researcher conducting a study on BDD which is based in NYC at The New School for Social Research. In this study, we will be examining participant's responses to pictures. We are currently recruiting participants for this study.

We are looking at responses of individuals while looking at various pictures, which will hopefully add to the knowledge on self-perception and cognition in those with BDD, as well as add to general knowledge about BDD. The study will consist of answering several questionnaires assessing BDD and regarding body image symptoms, and participants will be asked questions about several pictures. Participants will be kept completely confidential.
