Hi everybody

I want to add something.
This may seem like an obvious question, but actually, the term mental health is multi-faceted. When we talk about our mental health we are referring to both our brain's physical health as well as our emotional state. In order to have good overall mental health, your brain needs to be physically fit as well as emotionally fit. A number of factors contribute to both the physical and emotional state of our minds. It is important be aware of these issues so that you can keep your mind happy on both levels.

I agree with.National Alliance for Research onDepression. As far as I gathered it's about depression and on-line mental health sites in general.

Does anyone ever feel that their mental problems are not as bad as they think they are? The reason I am asking is that I suffer from depression and mild anxiety. I am on medication for both and I was seeing a traditional therapist but after 2 years of seeing her have felt that it's time to move on to cognitive therapy. So now I am seeing a cognitive therapist and I just started. I wonder if sometimes I think that we think that we have more of a mental problem than we really think we do. I hope no one thinks I am discrediting mental disorders. I am not trying to do that at all, I'm just wondering if anyone has ever felt this way.

I believe in helping improve the quality of mental health. If you check out the following weblink, I think you'll find there is are others that feel they can help too. I volunteer for them as well.

i have been dealing with mental illness for almost 20 years, and wish along the way there would have been better options.. maybe in the future we will all get the help and support we shoudl have.

This test is biased towards depression and as with most multiple-choice questionnaires, they fail to take into account the subtleties of mental illness which cannot be 'graded' into a statistic, and thus an inference of results will only provide 'generalities' , which for people suffering from mental illness I have personally found treatment to be at best, lacking. And the control group?
