Couples Research Study

Postby fairfieldsocoglab » Thu Oct 26, 2017 12:49 pm

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to learn more about the factors that predict personal and relationship happiness and well-being over time.

Participant Criteria: The Couples’ Research Study works with couples who have been in a romantic relationship for 3 months or longer. Both couple-members must be 18 years of age or older in order to participate in the study, and write and speak English fluently.

Compensation: For participating in the study, each couple-member will be entered into a drawing for one of ten Amazon gift cards (two $100 gift cards and eight $50 gift cards). So, if both you and your partner take part in the study, you could receive up to $200 in gift cards as a couple in the drawing. We expect to enroll about 50 couples in the study, so your odds of being selected in the drawing are approximately 1 in 10.

Study Outline: Participation involves completing an initial survey online, which will take approximately 20 minutes. After the initial survey, you will be asked to complete two shorter follow-up surveys at one month intervals, each of which should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. The questions you will be asked have to do with your perceptions of your partner and your relationship with your partner, your own interests and personality, and your daily activities.

Contact: To participate in this study, for eligibility criteria, and for more information, please contact Kaitlyn Tatulli, project coordinator, at fairfieldsocoglab@gmail.com
