Just recently I have been having lots of cravings for liquor and beer. I miss the warm burning and the warming sensation as my brain fog clears. I know I would do more harm than good, but a drink would be very appealing right now. Im going on 6 months sober. Smoke a ton of weed still, but it does not compare to being downright drunk. Dulling all the pain. What should I do? Any reccomendations?

I don't think there's an easy answer to that . I have recently decided to stop drinking alcohol only because it does nothing for me anymore ( except give me a headache ). The only tactic I use with cravings is to distract myself until they fade . Sometimes that means jumping from one activity to another in a ridiculously short space of time until the urge fades away . That works for me most of the time .
