GABA receptor meds are described as having a 'sedative' effect. It is not a sedative drug.

If you have an issue, see your physician. Avoid self-doctoring or saving old medications for future use.
That sounds like a set-up for a relapse to me. This is not a joke. Recovery is a life or death matter. Many who relapse never have a chance to make it back.
I know for myself that last time I used, I had no more chances left. I barely made it back.
I have heard that the recovery rate is more like 4%. This is a killer disease. Be one of those 4% please.
When I hear about why people went back out, I hear about 'planned use' a lot. Spontaneous relapse is rare (not that it can't happen), but the fall can usually be seen coming for awhile before it actually happens.
Maybe not by the addict themselves, but by those around him or her. Usually the addict gets so numb that they can't see that their recovery is in great danger until it is too late. Warning from others are hard to heed, because you know that only happens to others and couldn't possibly happen to you.
