Am I Being Stalked or am I somewhat Crazy

Ok there is either a very extremely long version to this or an abridged version to this story. I’ll give the abridged version and supply more detail if asked.

My phone had been affected by what I thought was a phishing email, first time I ever experinced this, probably about a year ago. I have an iPhone 6. I had to call apple support to get it working again. I was extremely concerned because I literally save everything on my phone; my username and passwords to all my work related accounts, financial info, you name it it was on there. About 7 months go by and I feel comfortable now that it was nothing damaging. Separate from this, I have a twitter account that I haven’t used very much in a couple of years, I primarily used it for political activism for marijuana reform. I followed a handful of parody accounts for purely entertainment. Then all of a sudden a lot of coincidences started occurring. I would say something and then these twitter accounts would post something about what I would say. I began thinking, ok just a coincidence. But it then started happening twice a day, almost ever day if not every other day. I tried narrowing it down to whom I was speaking with, maybe someone I know is just messing with me. But it included many different areas of my life with no social connections. I have numerous documented incidences of this happening. To escape this maddening feeling, I took a road trip and almost never view twitter. But near the end of the of my trip I finally had the last straw, which literally scared the $#%^ out of me. Now traveling as much as I was I can’t recall if I have a thought or I’m thinking out loud, but I traveled the one night coming out of Tampa and this car repeatedly was flashing his lights and turning them on and off with no noticeable pattern. He wasn’t signaling someone to pass or merge or that there was a cop. It was purely repeatedly spontaneous lights going on and off, not to mention it was obnoxious. Then I thought or spoke out loud, I can’t remember, about the idea of soulmates. Well I checked twitter for the first time on my trip that night and found two tweets talking about these exact two ideas. And that was all. Usually the accounts are polluted with a ton of $#%^, but that was all they posted. And it stayed like that for days. Not to mention the account was tagged for abusive behavior. Now these coincidences have been happening for a while now, but now this time I am concerned for my own security. My phone has either been tapped, or someone was following me that night. Not to mention the girl I dated for almost five years, we’ve been separated for almost 3, I told her if we would ever start talking again that I would prefer her to use subtle messages on social media. These spam twitter accounts sent a photo of her hand with a ring that I took viral on the accounts that I followed and repeatedly sent it viral multiple times for weeks. I’ve contacted her but she hasn’t given me an answer.

I have numerous other coincidences documented like this. I am concerned. Do you think something weird is going on here or am I going crazy?

Pretty often when I tweet stuff, companies and fake twitters will respond to it. It's super annoying. You don't have to hashtag. Type in something like coffee and suddenly you get several fake starbucks twitters liking and responding to it. All they have to do is make a news feed in tweetdeck to see every tweet with one particular word in it. It's super annoying.

I can't see why a stalker would do that. I have seen many folks do that to tell people to turn on their lights or to tell them to turn before them...basically getting their attention in regards to driving is all.

Maybe a popular thought of many. You said something about significant others. I guarantee that's a popular online topic. I don't know what the other thought was that you had though. I don't believe I missed reading it, but maybe I did and am not seeing it.

You say you took it viral, so they like RT'd it? Maybe it was just a good pic. That happens with me a bunch.

Holodeck thank you for your response. Just a few things, I understand the whole idea of companies using twitter. When I said “say” something it was me in real life speaking. I also understand the common curtisies when driving, this wasn’t the case. But all of this doesn’t matter. When all of this was happening, and it happened way too frequently, I began to become concerned for my safety, but I blocked those twitter accounts. If someone is stalking me or has my phone tapped I am now in the frame of mind that I don’t give a $#%^.

Hi, I hope your O.K as this was posted about 2 years ago, in my opinion no your definitely not crazy, crazy people can't write a clear and concise account of what's occurring to them, the fact that you can, say's it all, in my view your being targeted by a group playing mind games, it's based upon NLP or RNM you can read about GS as it's well covered upon youtube.
