Uncontrollable Muscle Movements

Postby pdpax » Sun Jan 05, 2014 11:07 am

Hello everyone,

I have a problem that makes my facial muscles move uncontrollably which is very disturbing and can be extremely exhausting at times. It's like a tic, but I don't think it's one. Every single "tic" can last for 3-5 seconds and they can be repeated for hours one after another.

I think the main source of it is repetition. Since I was a child, I felt like there are germs and negative energy all around me for a couple of different reasons. I'm 22 now and I was doing fine recently, until I got into a rather stressful situation in which I tried to avoid the negative energy or get rid of it by certain small movements in my face, which I know is absolutely insane and crazy!! I'm learning to get rid of those imaginations.

But now those movements have become like a habit and I can hardly control them. Any suggestions how can I get rid of them?

have you tried talking to your doctor about this? Perhaps they might have some suggestions?
