Frightened by awful symptoms!

In 2008 I went to my local hospital spitting blood! A doctor checked me out and sent me home. Throughout that year I felt strange body tremors but no pain anywhere. In 2009 I started getting abdominal pains and in September I had an endoscopy which showed erosive duodenitis caused by helibactor pylori. At the same time I had fine pins and needles in my arms and legs and genital numbness and ED. I read an article on the internet about zinc poisoning caused by temporary fillings and denture cream. I went to a private clinic and my zinc test came back elevated at 26.5!! In Jan 2010 I saw a urologist who prescribed cialis for the ED. In September 2010 I went on holiday to Turkey with my girlfriend with the same symptoms tingling in legs and arms and head pains. When I returned to London I went home, had a terrible taste in my mouth and spat blood! I went to my GP and told him what had happened. He prescribed some Ranitidine and said if it happened again I should have another endoscopy. In March 2011 my brother suggested I go into a mental health hospital as I was very depressed which I did for 2 months. I took a wide range of antidepressants ranging from venlafaxine to mirtazapine and told one of the doctors that I felt terminally ill. I have now moved to Romford and am in constant abdominal pain and feel complete nerve damage in my genitals. My GP arranged an endoscopy in August 2011 and amazingly the result was normal!! Stomach normal, duodenum normal!!!!I told the gastroenterologist who carried out the endoscopy that previous to this I had spat specks of blood from my stomach in previous years but he assured me he could find no evidence of bleeding!!!! I also had another zinc test which came back normal at 8. I have been diagnosed with persistent somatoform pain disorder but I fear that when my zinc level was high my nervous system was badly damaged. I still take mirtazapine but I am in constant upper abdominal pain with constant pins and needles in my legs and arms and have total ED and amazed that I've made it to 2012!

Yes I am. I feel like going on a holiday while I still can!

I feel that my whole body is poisoned and that I'll need a miracle to get through to the Summer!

It's not poisoned, it's just this illness. Keep reminding yourself of that.

I feel worse every day! I feel that I have irrepearable nerve damage everywhere. it's hard to stay positive! I don't even sweat any more.

What does your therapist say that you should do to avoid feeling this way or to help yourself?
