Haven't tried Zoloft. Tried a multitude of other meds though.
If all you're having is side effects, and you don't feel like you can deal with it anymore, or if you're not willing to give it more time, it would be good to head on back to whatever psychiatrist/GP prescribed it to you and inform them about this. A lot of meds that were labeled to treat anxiety make anxiety worse because there's no real clear understanding about the role of serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine. SSRI's like Zoloft increase serotonin because in some people with anxiety it's seen that serotonin low compared to whatever half-assed control the researchers use. However, there is an equal amount of people with high serotonin and anxiety. So for some of us that's how our anxiety looks biologically.
So, that being said, the increased serotonin may be the opposite of what you need.
I like living in the world in my head because I'm in charge half the time.
