That I have to explain why I'm 26, unmarried, no children, no college, no car, low-paying job. I'm a walking loser basically, I would rather just not have to explain it all.

E.:
Normally I think "it could be worse" is a dumb thing to say, but imagine this:
- you're married to someone you hate
- you have bratty kids that consume your life/finances
- you have giant student loans
- you're stuck commuting 2 hours a day in your car
- you are in a high paying job that you nevertheless hate.

I know what you mean though. Maybe I'm just trying to make us both feel better :)

Unintentionally making other people feel uncomfortable by my mere presence or my actions, which will cause them to perform actions that will then, make me feel unpleasant.

-Seeming too masculine.
-Coming off as a bore.
-Getting that "Ooookaaay...?" look that I seem to get.
-My childhood lisp kicking back in.
-People assuming I'm trying to hit on them.
-Mispronouncing words.
-Mispronouncing names. (I speak directly to people without using their names).
-Making other people uncomfortable by approaching them.

I'm afraid of not having anything to say to someone I have to talk to, or want to talk to, specifically a girl, which 99.9% of the time I don't, leading to people thinking I'm a psycho or complete weirdo.

I'm also afraid that people will find me boring, since I don't do much at all, leading to those people not wanting me around.

And if by chance I do get in good with someone, I fear going to a bar. How the hell do I order a beer when I walk up to a bar? I'm 22 and never walked up to a bar on my own. Having a waitress ask me what I want at my table doesn't bother me, but having to actually walk from my table and ask the bartender for a drink, it scares the $#%^ out of me.

For people to see me for who I really am and find me to be as pathetic as I know I am.

Among educated people I'm afraid of acting too rough/uneducated.
Among uneducated people I'm afraid of acting too clever/know-all.

Mostly I'm afraid of people finding something laughable about me (even if they don't express it, I think they do).
