I have considered all caughts to be lucky to be honest. That first time was my only nerveous breakdown as far as i remember. I havent, as far as i know, been put on the police radar for anything yet. Actually i was stopped one time not to long ago and they ran a check on me then let me go. I guess they wouldnt tell me if they had stuff on me at that time since i was randomly stopped and searched but it still boost that thought. Mostly when im caught i get defensive and will often just argue back.
Because i frankly belive i wont be persecuted it makes my nerves calm enough to stay controlled i think. If i argue its because i get alittle angered by the bossy nature of the person who stop me, as if they expect me to totaly surrender to them. If the person is very big then i probably will surrender to them, but that hasnt happened yet so...

Have you been caught several times or just that one time? If so i bet that next time wont be so horrible emotionally.

Im not sure if i should post this with the possibility of provoking you(fun talking to you) or other kleptos but i just thought that claiming to be a klepto might get me out of a sticky situation in the future. Instead of going mad i could go sad instead. Why havent i thought of that before? It helped you didnt it. What do you think?

Thanks anyway! :D

Hi,

You should never use a mental disorder as an excuse for misbehaving, okay? If you used that logic, then you could go out tomorrow and kill someone, claiming that you're a paranoid schizophrenic and had a delusion that the person you killed was certain to kill you (if you didnt' kill him/her first). See my point? Anyway, regarding my klepto stuff, I now have flashbacks each time I go into a shop and see a security guard. I feel as if they are constantly watching me and following me around the store. Since moving to a new country though, I have vowed to pay for everything.

I dont work atm. I have ADHD so i get bored very easily and that causes jobs to fire me. Im not in a hurry to find another job though. Its one day at a time for me. I dont have any education for obvious reasons and i doubt ill ever return to school. I manage just fine though. I dont worrie about my future.

Why did you leave school early?; are you still living with your parents? I only moved out of my parents' house recently and am 26 years old.

Okay, so who are you living with now? To be honest dude, you're sounding like you are a bit depressed and maybe are using the addictions that you have as an excuse not to address the real problems at hand. You don't have to be locked into this life forever, you know. There is hope out there - you have to believe it and fight for it.

I used to think i was depressed for a long time but i learned, by a professional, that that was not the case and adhd was suggested instead. I dont feel sad at all nor do i feel unhappy but everything feels very white, if you know what i mean, which is why i thought i was depressed in the first place. This dosent mean i cant laugh and I manage to keep myself entertained enough to endure living this way. To be honest, i enjoy not being bound to anything apart from my significant other which im very fund of. Ill probably get depressed when im not able to live this carefree life and i actualy have to rely on people and work to survive. Luckily i have enough time to figure things out.
Why did you wait til you were 26 before you moved out? I can see the benefits.
