sexual aversion and AvPD basically death sentence

far as i can tell anyone with these sexual aversion and AvPD type disorders is like a death sentence to die alone. anyone thinks any different is a fool. there is no conceivable "normal" person that wants to be or stay with someone with these issues. majority of people can make sense of porn addiction, sex addiction but not the opposite. sexual aversion is like a private little hell and most people say just get over it. except i dont like people touching me and freak out if they try to so there is no 'just getting over it and moving on to the next thing in the sexual relationship.' i can't even tell you anything about a sexual relationships from personal experience since i am 31 and a female virgin. let me tell you that is red flags all over the place to guys. they do not want anything to do with this unless it's going to end up in sex for them. and i love the people that say 'dont discuss your sex life with guys then' LOL. REally? as if this doesn't come up within the first few dates, weeks. so IMO the only way around this is through -- just get used to living with it and call it a day. except that is not nearly as easy as it sounds.

I can relate to your post a little, RETRODOLL. No, people shouldn't tell you to just get over it, that is really stupid. Have you had therapy for it, though? I know competent therapists can be hard to come by. Maybe you'll meet someone who has/had his own issues and he'll be more understanding, when the time will be right.
