When my wife and I first started dating 17 years ago, her vagina had an arousing aroma that really turned me on. This continued up until about 5 years ago. I occassionally masturbate with her underwear (smell arouses me). I know women have different aromas. I have smelled other women's underwear and can sense a different smell (laundry hamper in bathrooms). Is there anything that can be done to get an aroma back, i.e foods etc.. Smell is one thing that really arouses me. My wife is 45 years old if that makes any difference. Please help.

There are many things that could be wrong here, and I don't think that what she eats has much to do with it. For one, she might be less thorough when washin herself these days, or she may have a vaginal infection. Either way, it is dangerous territory to bee discussing this with her, as she may be grossly offended by it.

Your wifes age has a lot to do with it. And in her defence you might have changes that she has
not approach you. I suggest bubble baths, vaginal spray, and a cleansing douche.
hope something helps

Is it just me, or does it sound like the wife is lacking smell? Sounds like she's too clean down there and he wants her to get some aroma back; not get rid of any.

So why bathe, spray and douche? That would make it even fresher than a summer's eve..

Oh, I totally misread the original post. Doesn't everyone have an odour though? The genitalia are one of the areas on the human body that contain apocrine glands, which secrete an oily substance that has our characteristic odour. All other glands on the body secrete water and are called ecrine.

If she's 45 it's probaly the start of menopause causing her to dry up 'down there'.

I agree with cold hands.
As a woman's body ages she goes through hormonal changes. At your wife's age she is probably at the onset of menopause and her body is transitioning. I'm afraid there's probably not much you can do about this situation.
btw - stay out of other people's laundry baskets!
my ex-husband had a friend whom I caught sniffing my panties and it skeeved me out. It's one thing if it's your partner's, but when it comes to others. no no no!
