Kallman's syndrome / Micropenis

Postby babylon5 » Sun Jul 12, 2009 5:23 pm

I'm not sure if this is the right place for something like this but I need answers to questions and this seems like a place to try.

Kallman's Syndrome, hormone defficiency which means i'm 21 and only just going through puberty due to having monthly injections of testosterone.

What I really want to know is, even though I am 21, since I am going to go through puberty, will my penis still "grow" at all? Or because i'm so "old" already, is it forever doomed to be the size it currently is? (1.5" flaccid, barely 4" erect)

I can't seem to find the answer to this question anywhere online... my next appointment with the endocrinologist at the hospital is in 4 months so i'm planning on asking him then but I really want to know.

Thanks

Hi,

I am not familiar with this syndrome but - usually - little growth occurs in the sex organs after the age of 21. However, who knows how this syndrome manifests itself, or what the injections of testosterone will do. I mean, testosterone has many effects on the body, one being that it causes the penis to enlarge. In a 'normal' person, levels of testosterone fall after puberty. However, if you are taking testosterone injections now, then I cannot really see why your penis wouldn't grow.

CAn you not call your doctor by phone?

The thing is, puberty is supposed to trigger penis growth, we can agree on that, right?

Since i'm only just going through it now at 21, will I get still get the growth that usually comes with puberty?

This is what i'm trying to figure out

I googled it and found this
http://www.steroidology.com/forum/anabo ... -grow.html

It seems the shots will make a small difference but nothing major.

Doesn't really seem to be a definitive answer there, and they seem to mostly be talking about HGH (Human Growth Hormone) which is different than Testosterone. Plus they don't seem to be taking it as part of treatment for a defficiency and not ever gone through puberty, seems more like a normal person taking it and wanting a bigger schlong.

I actually also have HGH defficiency and was treated with daily injections of it for about 2 years, gained over "7 in body height, but didn't notice a penis growth change.

Thanks for the help anyway!

You never answered my question about telephoning the doctor - Can you not do this before the actual appointment?

I can't, he's a specialist at the hospitial and it can take 6 months just to get an appointment, I don't have a number or anything to call either.

Hmm, then I suggest that you consult a different website (more specific to sexual disorders) or else consider just phoning your local doctor...?

Here's a case study, he seems to have had good results.

Here's a website of posts, you should try e-mail a few of the people.

http://www.hypohh.net/forum/notice1.htm

But like Chucky said getting in contact with a doctor would be the best way to go.
